This is the kind of shit I'm dealing with from otherwise-intelligent Trump-voting acquaintances.
Like I'm not the kind of person to say that someone is too ignorant to vote, but this is getting pretty dang close.
Like you're a programmer, you *have* to know that an average of an average of an average is gonna obscure details to the point of uselessness, right? And you've gotta know that it would be the opposite of treating every vote equally/proportionately, right? Right?!?

the only way I can imagine a smart person comes to these conclusions is if they pay so little attention to elections and voting that they see a two-color state or county level results map and come up with the notion that each block of color should be treated equally, as if the fiefdom of Wichita should be equal under the king as the fiefdom of San Francisco.
But of course that's not how it works, nor how it should work, because this is democracy not feudalism.
