why the fuck do presta valves exist
@sneak they're great. Because they have threading and a nut, you can still pump air into them when they are fully deflated and not have the valve go into the wheel itself. They're also longer so even if it's not threaded and it pushes in, you can still grab on to enough to attach your air pump.
All of this is good when your putting a new tube inside the tire and it's mostly deflated.
