what the fuck is wrong with postfix why can't it just have a binary i can exec from runit/daemontools why does it have to have this stupid shellscript metacommand thing
@sneak it's poorly designed, qmail was designed to be run under a supervisor though
@sneak postfix got the "separate processes" thing right, but in doing so they got everything else wrong
@wowaname `postfix start-fg` finally does the right thing
