@sneak I’ve been using Keyoxide recently too, I like how it’s decentralised and easy to use (for techies anyway) but it really needs some type of SDK so the process of adding proofs can be built for your own site. I know proving a domain is easy, but I mean say if you run an instance of [insert fedi platform here] and you want your users to be able to verify with it. Shouldn’t be too hard since it uses PGP.
One thing I do miss from Keybase is the Saltpack integration which I think is an excellent modern alternative to PGP.
@sneak right and the E2EE chat and file sharing is using Saltpack, whereas if Keyoxide wanted to implement that it’d be using PGP which is a lot messier.
