@sneak only because companies like FB intentionally make their mobile UI total shit to force people into installing the app, a good mobile UI is fine, you don’t actually need to install an app for everything.

@sneak the most popular mobile OS in the world is Android and Chrome (along with every browser forked from it) absolutely supports this feature. iOS users seem to be SOL tho yeah.
@sneak any modern browser can provide notifications, your desktop browser can provide desktop web notifications and your mobile browser can do the same.
