oh, joy, just found out signal doesn't support moving your existing keys/chats from ios to android or vice versa - you can migrate android-to-android, or ios-to-ios, but you can't cross the streams. for fucke's sake
@sneak its shocking how broken encryption is. next cloud won't obsc filenames even if you "encrypt" it. cryptomator won't work with dvfs2 and everything is a mess.
didn't they stop making signal open source? I think I stopped using it then
