@sneak we’re now preparing a group that will be pushing far South should global war break out… because while my friends can’t support me due to their own problems, everyone is ready to just drop whatever bullshit they’re doing with to help with evacuations.

Speaking of which, we’re going to Peru, to the ancient city of Machu Picchu. It won’t be an easy journey but it will be better than sticking around any potential nuclear targets.

@HerbSteelbranch if there is a global nuclear war where you have to avoid "potential nuclear targets", there will be no place on earth that is safe. if you dodge the bombs and fallout (which is a viable strategy otherwise), the dust kicked up will cause a several-years-long winter and will destroy crops and agriculture. even those not vaporized or poisoned will starve. there will be no human society left.

@sneak I’d rather not listen to that. What we need is hope, that we might possibly survive, not your “realistic” tellings of our doom.
