it’s really amazing the entitlement i run into in the f/oss world. no, you are not allowed to ship nonconsensual spyware simply because you wrote some code then gave the code away for free. your misfeatures will be patched out, and you are not being wronged as the software you wrote and gave away is no longer yours, it is ours.
