The lengths that people will go to in order to avoid public transport.
I'll take well designed and funded public transport over self-driving any day. Way more energy efficient, results in less traffic, and you don't have to be paying attention in case you need to take over.
@jeffalyanak @notjustbikes this requires being around extremely poor people, something i and many others simply do not ever want to tolerate
There's nothing wrong with poor people, but also in many places in the world public transport is for _everyone_, poor or wealthy.

@jeffalyanak @notjustbikes a lot of them smell badly and have untreated mental health problems; these are the main reasons i don't use public transit (almost anywhere, even where it's good/ubiquituous).
