having swapped win/ctrl so that i can still thumb-shortcuts on comradeOS as I am used to from command-key days, i am now supremely annoyed that Apple usage has programmed me to use two different modifier keys for shortcuts over the years.

correspondingly i am now going to be a caps-as-control person from here on out and retrain myself
