@sneak i mean, in an ideal world yeah. but not everyone has the privilege to choose not to.

and how do you define what’s a “bad company” anyway? sure, some are outright bad like Amazon and Google, but the smaller ones? startups? what makes them “bad”?

@x what makes google bad? i think google is one of the least bad. Amazon, on the other hand, built a special on-prem datacenter for the CIA to hold their drone mass murder videos.

@sneak i think Google’s bad because their business model is fundamentally unethical (ads). and re: Amazon, that’s awful, but that doesn’t make every Amazon employee somehow complicit—that’s the point i’m trying to make.
