apple should sell a machine-specific signing private key for the m1's bootloader as an expensive addon to the air, to allow freedom of use for those who want it, but also to prevent normies from buying it accidentally and getting persistent malware
@sneak The market for a machine-specific M1 signing private key should be at least as large as the market for a heartbreakingly-steady, fingertip-adjustable stand for the XDR Pro Display. Do you think the wheel team could manage it as an additional accessory?
@sneak I think corp-only MDM server setup would make more sense, that way normies wont do it, but corps and govts get something they would like, driving more sales.
