i need a 5g usb modem that is supported by current openwrt. please advise.
@pleb this is close, but i need a dongle/portable that i can plug into my battery powered router (that goes in my bag/pocket) via USB
@pleb yeah i use a GL-E750 box that looks like a mi-fi but runs openwrt and has a nice little web interface, has LTE backhaul and can be a wireguard client. i use it instead of putting sims into my phones/tablets, everything vpns. want to 5G 5G 5G
Thought you wanted a whole openwrt modem.
It says up to 16W over POE, so not for long.
