man, my instagram was fire. can someone please suggest a replacement?

@me i have an account, the app had terrible ux so i stopped using it.

@sneak

@sneak I don't know any other alternative but I'll boost your toot

@me what i really want is a jekyll photo gallery plugin for my website and a good cms for jekyll, but that's a Whole Thing. i really should make a wordpress replacement that's just an admin-only dynamic/api cms app that renders out a whole static site on each change (and commits sources to git)

@sneak I would like something like this. I'm aware of this premium service for write.as called snap.as[¹], but it's not clear to me if it's only a "photo storage", I mean you upload a photo from write.as and you get a public URL of the photo, or it create also the gallery we can see in the home page. Unfortunately I was not able to find public galleries on snap.as. But the idea seems like your, and I like your idea.

@me

@sneak for you to publish or to browse?

dannychoo.com/en I feel like is kind of a future direction for that. He used to do a lot of picture blogging with his own custom CMS and then moved to instagram, but also has an archive / copy of all of his insta posts on the webpage, and seems to be getting back into picture blogging again.
