installing the latest mullvad app on macos 11.x, turning on the kill switch, then upgrading to 11.4 and rebooting connects you to the internet directly.

apple doesn't give a single fuck about your privacy.

"We're the bad boys of the platform. We consistently speak truth to power. We're favourited by the 'white hats' who want a platform to highlight security vulnerabilities that Apple want to keep hidden. We militantly oppose Apple's cancellation of their Darwin 'open source' project, we militantly oppose Apple's attempt to 'wall in' their platform with code-signing, 'CodeResources', and the general overall policy of Apple's controversial App Store. We continue to provide the most lean and mean (and powerful) applications, and openly deride the move to Swift, which we find an unnecessary and abysmal programming language. And we hate fanboys."

@otso swift is cool and these people seem to just be anti-swift on the basis of “fuck apple”. the site bores me

@sneak @otso I was always wondering why people follow things they dislike so maniacally. well, if Apple are cowards, then it's ok not to use it and, suddenly, there's no reason to fight against it. no shit - no problem. I don't use proprietary software and don't give a heck to what they do in their dirty nests of copyright. let them go to hell we just choose another way, another OS, another software, another hardware. who cares what Apple ore M$ are if all people wouldn't use their spyware?
