My personal recommendation would be fediverse.express because I know who runs it and they do a great job.
If you don't think any of them are a good fit, though, I'd be happy to manage everything. I think $15/mo would be reasonable: ~$5 for a VPS from Hetzner that gives you some room to grow and ~$10 for labour/daily tarsnap backups
@sneak any catch in terms of unusual constraints or requirements? Something that masto host or the other "established" names can't/won't do?
I've been meaning to get communick into custom hosting. How about 200€/year for a fully managed pleroma?
@raphael that seems on the upper end of a little expensive but probably doable. can you keep all my keys and identifiers the same from my masto instance?
Honestly you'd be the very first customer for custom hosting. I believe that migrating is possible and I've done already for non-critical instances, but not automatically.
Not to create false expectactions, some trial-and-error will be involved.
