my 13" xps that cost under $4k has a much higher screen dpi than the $6500 16" m1max apple laptop i ordered today. :(

@surfingalot the xps is just quad core (iirc) 32gb though. the 16" is ten core, 64gb, 8tb, and has that ridiculous GPU
@sneak thinking more just visually wrt to resolution. Overall thought that past a certain dpi/viewing distance ratio more pixels there is no qualitative difference, and I thought at 4k on a 13” laptop you are well past that ratio. You’re implying there is a difference, so with the dpi boost of the new macbooks I’m wondering if it would be enough to match the qualitative experience of the xps you have now
