the official mastodon ios client has no way afaict to permanently disable content warning clickthroughs, and of course (thanks to apple’s shit notification system) notifications from my own instance don’t work
i even enabled background app refresh for it. does anyone know if ios lets apps spawn notifications during background app refresh?
@sneak yeah you could if you program it that way via the local notification api.
Remote notifications need a connection to APNS from the other server to work, which is why it probably doesn't work with yours, it's not set up that way?
