@Jain @tutu i'm sad that the old media is 4xxing, i've been uploading toot pics for a while

@sneak @tutu yeah sorry, a while back we lost all the old media, thats why its 404ing... basically due to decisions (not mine) we lost about 3 TB media not recoverable and with it also all the blob.cat media files which were part of that...
The consequence of this is that media now store in a new place very differently...

thanks to the way the media are stored, this should work

@sneak @tutu if you dont have the very same files from back then, i cant update them because i would need to either update all the posts (which is currently not possible since i dont use masto) or modifiy the way how media is stored and deduplicated which is nearly impossible
