yo @cadey why do you use your weird "M"MM DD YYYY format i've never seen anywhere else for dates on your website and not iso 8601 YYYY-MM-DD?

@sneak I have two answers for you:

1. It's the date format used by the iOS Lojban locale. I don't know where they got it from, but I've kind of gotten used to it over the years I've used it.
2. It pisses off Hacker News nearly every time an article of mine is posted and I enjoy seeing them squirm because I am a troll.

Really it's arbitrary.
