shoutout to traefik which defaults phone-home to false and requires opt-in consent to enable its bundled surveillance.
@sneak I've also noticed this with Traefik and think it's worth a shout-out.
Even software that claims to be "user-centric" these days phone home unbeknownst to you, and you find out after digging in some config.
@abdulocracy it still phones home to github to do an update check by default :(
