linux OSes should not let you install packages via the command line; you should be required to add them to a syntax-checked file and then run a command to ensure system installed packages match the file.

@waltercool i am pretty sure that both factions in the US expect the election results to be questionable. the electorate as a whole has lost a lot of faith in the system. whether or not it was misplaced in the first place is irrelevant.
