watched mononoke finally; what a fucked up acid trip of a movie that is. i still am not exactly sure what happened there. this and spirited away are about as nonsensical as i've ever seen a movie that remains an actual linear narrative.

i don't think these are for me, really. they look nice but they are the storytelling equivalent of really self-indulgent experimental jazz.

why are all CNCF projects so well branded and have their "used by" logo farms on the frontpage like they're a for-profit startup? what's the goal here, roping in free labor?

have episode V on in 2160p in the background while i'm working today. the imperial march now makes me think of bezos, but while i dislike large military contractors and concentration-camp-collaborators in general, i think amazon (sans AWS) is a net benefit; many more people would prefer amazon exist than not.

i think it's just AWS (and especially govcloud) that needs to be destroyed.
