@kai i've never been able to do it. the only way i was ever able to build a surplus was to earn more; life in the global west is really expensive.

@lazybird the very first thing you should do is make an image of the card, using something like `dd` with the option `conv=sync,noerror`. then put the card aside and do all the data recovery steps to a copy of the image.

heh my website is only 360kB but i include computer modern and helvetica neue which add another 1020kB. it's expensive to look this good.

@dajbelshaw is there a tool for measuring total site size? i ran one on my site and submitted to these smallsite club indices but it turns out it wasn't measuring my font files (which are of course optional to the render).

i'm curious what tools you use for determining the figure?
